Fixed Focus
The camera's focus is pre-set to a distance at which most subjects or objects will be in focus from near to far.
FlashPath
A HD-disk-sized shell into which a SmartMedia memory card is inserted so that images may be transferred directly to the computer through its floppy drive. Despite its convenience, it requires batteries and is slower than a PC card reader.
Flash Memory
A small printed circuit board that holds large amount of data in memory. Flash memory is used in PDAs, laptops, and digital cameras because it is small and holds its data when the computer is turned off.
